Donation To Canuck Place

During the Canuck run this season I managed to bake and distribute many, many dozen jersey cookies. Along with the jerseys I put together 3 jersey bouquets which were raffled for charity. After the raffles the only thing left was to decide which charity to donate the funds raised. It really wasn’t much of a decision and on Friday I made a trip to Canuck Place to drop off the proceeds. I also had one final batch of the jersey cookies that I took with me for the kids to enjoy. The staff were very appreciative of the donation and were excited when they realized I was the Olympic mitten cookie lady.

Thank you so much to the ladies at Curves on McAllister in Port Coquitlam for their support in the raffles.

Oh Canada

I am proud to be a Canadian and even prouder to welcome my friend Ernesto  to our great nation.

Ernesto hales from Chile and moved to this country seven years ago.  Today he proudly becomes a Canadian citizen and I am truly blessed to be able to share this momentous occasion with him as we welcome him to the true North strong and free.

To celebrate his becoming a true Canadian...I baked cookies...of course...part of my true patriot love.

I hope Ernesto that your celebration will be all that you wished for.  Welcome to our home and native land...the very best place on earth to live...you are truly a Canuck!!

Well...Hello Kitty

My sister baked and I decorated these very special "gluten" free sugar cookies for a sweet little six year old who's tummy doesn't much like flour.

I hope they bring a smile to her face!!

We Believe

Our boys in blue, green and white are sure giving our tickers a run for their money...how much more can our poor hearts take?

To celebrate our beloved Canucks, I made this boquet for a raffle at Curves.  If you want in on the action, you can visit Curves on McAllister and buy your tickets...$1 each or three for $2.

Good luck to those that buy a ticket and GOOD LUCK to our boys...WE BELIEVE!! Don't jump off the bandwagon yet!!!
